Man accused of killing girlfriend in their Sherman Oaks home, leaving her in vehicle in Simi Valley
Officials said Wednesday, December 29, that a man suspected of murdering his girlfriend at his home in Sherman Oaks and leaving her body in a Simi Valley car was arrested. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Angela Kukawski was reported missing on Wednesday, December 22, and was found in her car parked in 1500 blocks on Patricia Avenue in Simi Valley. Jason Barker, 49, was detained the next day on suspicion of murdering her. According to sheriff inmates’ records, he was in a Van Nuys prison and was in a $ 3 million prison.
